Linking a name to a cell phone number

December 26th, 2007 by admin

In the space of a decade, cell phones have gone from being a fringe gadget for those who could afford them, to a necessity in our current society. As of right now, cell phones outnumber land-line phones in North America, and the concept of only using them for calls is long gone. Now you can use them to view videos, listen to music and as a camera. Since there are so many cell phones out there now, it would be nice to know who is calling you from a cell number when no message is left.

Thanks to reverse phone look up, you can use their reverse cell phone directory service to find the name and address of that person whose call you missed.

Simply by entering in a cell phone number and hitting search, you can see the name and address of the caller.

This service will look through everything from court records to utility records to find who matches that number.

However, there is a catch. To see who the person is, you have to pay $14.95 for a membership.

So, if you get a lot of calls from people you do not know, and they don’t leave messages, this may be the service for you.

Otherwise, maybe you should just encourage callers to leave a message.

Fun Date Ideas that Don’t Cost a Fortune

December 25th, 2007 by admin

I don’t know about you, but I often find myself wishing I was rich just so I’d have enough cash to come up with some really Fun Date Ideas when I meet someone new. There are only so many times that you can do the whole dinner or movie thing before it starts getting really old. But the thing is, you actually don’t need a lot of money, or any money at all, to pull off a great date. You can do things that don’t cost a dime — like going for a walk or visiting a museum — that have the added benefit of allowing you to really have some time to talk and get to know one another. Sometimes, simpler is better.

How To Care For Your Slipcovers

December 24th, 2007 by admin

When it comes to protecting your expensive home furniture, slipcovers are the ideal solution. Whether it is your new La-Z-Boy recliner or Lane sofa, a slipcover will prevent stains, rips, and many other accidents.

Caring for slipcovers is extremely easy. With cotton, denim, corduroy, etc. you can simply put them in your washing machine to clean them. Some fabrics and materials such as linen will need to go to professional dry cleaners. One other important tip; don’t put the slipcover in a heated dryer. It will shrink the cover and cause it to not fit over your furniture again.

Choosing Offshore Business Process Outsourcing

December 24th, 2007 by admin

Some time and research must go into choosing which Offshore Business Process Outsourcing company is best suited to work with you. Contracts can run from just a few weeks to several years and most organizations who use a BPO company soon find out they are well worth the cost. All the money and time saved can be utilized elsewhere. For most lay people, they envision a credit card or computer company having a staff that mans their phones. These people are the crux of the business as it’s their job to address all the customer complaints that come in. Although this was most likely how businesses ran several years ago, it’s rarely the case anymore. With more and more call center services being directed offshore, the people who answer those customer service calls are farther away than you think.

Health Articles By Cindy Heller For Reprint

December 24th, 2007 by admin

With Christmas approaching, taking care of our health can be the last thing on our minds, what with all the rich food, alcohol, and parties we go to over the season. However, by the end of the month, we are often starting to feel the effects of neglecting our health. We might experience acne breakouts where we normally wouldn’t, and if we’re not careful, we may even have put on a few extra pounds.

Cindy Heller is a writer whose articles are a good source of tips on how to deal with the sorts of problems that can arise from our partying and overconsumption. As well as articles on the relationship between acne and our diet, treatments, and types of acne, she writes on cholesterol, childhood obesity, and yoga.

I particularly enjoyed reading her articles on the different types of yoga, and the differences between easy and advanced yoga. They really helped me to broaden my yoga practice.

Overall, I can definitely recommend Cindy Heller’s health articles if you want to fix some of the health issues you may have incurred in the festive season.

We are Water? Mostly Water. What Could this Mean?

December 23rd, 2007 by admin

We hear again and again drink plenty of water and that we are at least 70% water.  Recently I began to ponder this, asking myself why are we 70% water?  Does it matter why?  Or is the fact that we are more important than we consider?

And what about the fact that the planet is also water?  And now we hear that there is water in the entire universe, although not in the same form that we have in our oceans. It fuel for thought.

Help With Pug Potty Training and Other Pug Dog Issues

December 22nd, 2007 by admin

If you have or admire Pug dogs, you’ll want to know about a cool new website I just ran across. It’s called UltimatePug.com — it just launched and it is run by Michelle Arthur, a Pug owner and trainer. Michelle is pulling together information from a champion Pug breeder, a world-famous trainer and a top vet. There’s a form on the site where you can ask questions and make suggestions. I sent in a suggestion and got back an email reply from Michelle in just a few minutes! There’s already some helpful information. I found a very informative article on house training Pugs using the schedule-based method, as well as a couple videos on Pug potty training. There’s nothing worse than a Pug who pees in the house! If you’re a Pug owner like me, I recommend you go check UltimatePug.com out.

Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to earn money online. You can simply sign up with a company to market thier products that are already proven to sell. One of the top affiliates online for the past few years is Ewen Chia and there is no question as to his ability to dominate an affiliate program. Marketing Strategy

December 22nd, 2007 by admin

Marketing strategy helps organizations to focus their attention to complete resource utilization to increase sales and win over their competitors. Every company applies some kind of marketing strategies to maintain existing customers, attract potential customers and also to maintain and enhance their reputation in the market. When designing a marketing plan, first a marketing strategy is taken into consideration. The marketing plan consists of steps to be taken so as to attain success in the implementation of the marketing strategy chosen. Big projects involve selection of different strategies at different levels. Usually a strategy consists of well-sketched tactics. They are meant to meet the needs and finally reach marketing objectives. Each of the strategies has pre-calculated results because when a particular strategy is chosen at a particular level, its outcome becomes the goal of that particular level. If there is an absence of a well thought strategy in a marketing plan means it is supposedly lacking a good foundation. A reasonable marketing strategy should not only facilitate marketing goals, but also the action sequence of a campaign. At regular time intervals the firm should analyze the marketing decision. This is done with the help of strategic models and the 3C’s model is considered for this purpose. To calculate the company’s strategic position, Ansoff matrix is used. The 3C’s model determines the factors, which leads to the success of a marketing campaign. There are three key parties involved in this model the corporation, the customer and the competitors. The involvement of all the three key parties leads to positive results and this involvement is known as the 3C’s or strategic triangle.

My antique cylinder stove is a great talking point

December 21st, 2007 by admin

I really wanted to have some different type of heating in my kitchen, and so I decided to fit an antique cylinder stove as a way of adding extra heat when the weather turns cold, particularly in the middle of winter time. The great thing about my cylinder stove is not only that it gives out great heat, and helps to keep the room really nice and warm, even when the temperature drops below zero, but that the design is so cool that anyone who comes to see me always comments on it and we often end up having a conversation about where I bought it and where the person can buy one for themselves. There aren’t many types of heating that give you good heating and help you to start a conversation into the bargain.

Freelance Writer – Make Writing Work for You

December 21st, 2007 by admin

There are many options for careers for those people who are naturally gifted with words. However, apart from the obvious choices of working in journalism or publishing, writing as a career can actually be incredibly lucrative when done as a freelance job from home. The greatest benefit of this is that you can do what you love, make money, and stay home, too. Now, any rational person should be able to figure out that there will not be cash rolling in faster than it can be counted, but you can certainly make a decent living by writing. There are all kinds of options that are widely available; the trick is getting your name and qualifications out there. Whether you end up writing copy for web sites, articles for newsletters, or whatever comes your way, the fact of the matter is that there is money to be made through writing. The best way to find projects geared toward the freelance writer is to get on the Internet and search for freelancing sites. Basically, these web sites offer you a chance to post your profile and resume, and either join their organization as a free member or with a paid subscription. Once you have a membership established, you will be able to submit bids for available jobs. These few simple steps will get you on your way to earning money by writing. Now, your writing from home can be done on your terms and on your timeline. IF you just need to make a few hundred extra dollars a month, then a part-time availability is the best way to go. Of course, if you are interested in making it a full-time career, then you can take writing jobs accordingly. Depending on your skill range and your timeframe, you are in charge of how much you work and therefore how much you make. Once you have gotten yourself situated and feel comfortable with your writing as a money making enterprise, you may want to consider actually forming a writing firm. You can still be the sole writer, or you could employee other writers, as well. This can be very lucrative; it can also establish your writing services as more professional and thereby more likely to be chosen for given projects. In the end, when you decide to make writing from home your career, you will not be disappointed. Even if you go into writing for a little extra cash in addition to your regular income, it is still an easy and fun way to incorporate skills you already have into a money maker. There is also the benefit of building a solid reputation and resume as a writer. So whether you decide to get into writing full or part time, the bottom line is that you can do what you love and get paid. =========================== Molten Marketing web advertising member, Sue LaPointe, shows you how to make money writing. A time management tip

December 21st, 2007 by admin

Do you find yourself often forgetting to get things done, especially the small tasks? When you’re working on a task does your mind get distracted in thinking about other things you need to do as well? Well you’re not alone many people find this. So here’s a time management tip to help you. Write everything down. That’s not only the large tasks and projects that you’re working on, but also the very small, and perhaps unrelated things that need to get done. Once you have everything written down on your list, you’ll feel clearer in your mind about what needs to be done, and not constantly worrying about what else needs to be done. And when you see what needs to be done in black and white, it’s much easier to make successful choices.

All I want for Christmas is my new red coat

December 20th, 2007 by admin

Crossing the street to get in to Copley Place the other night and getting a lapfull of freezing slush, convinced me it is definitely time to get a new winter coat. At the same time, I’ve been avoiding it because so many of the Women’s Winter Coats are so downright dull and boring.  When I got home I wnt online and voila, I found this gem at Nordstrom’s.  It’s a Cinzia Rocca Loro Piana Wool Coat, a plush, fit-and-flare coat.. The fold-over neck above a hidden-button front is really striking and it has a full skirt.

I fell in love with this coat and the significant other can give it to me for Christmas.  I’m sure he’ll love to do that.  It’s $1,095.

Oh, I adore Christmas, don’t you?

Love

Fiona
