Electric conversion kits are great, as they allow people to run a car on electricity. There are so many people who do not realize, electric engines have been around for over a century. Indeed, the first electric engine was made famous as early as the 1830s. Oil and petrol based engines were not always dominant, and many early land speed records were actually made by electric based vehicles. As early as eighteen ninety nine, a fellow called Camille Jenatzy broke the 100 KM per hour barrier in an electric car. Electric based cars were competing with their rival of petroleum powered cars all the way to up to the nineteen twenties. So what was the reason petrol cars disappeared from the car market? I hate to say it, but it’s very likely that greed is the cause of this great technology being hidden from the masses.
