Alright I know you have been delaying because if you have not been you would have no need to be reading this right now.  A social media marketing strategy or overall plan is absolutely necessary for your website.  Those websites who do not have any presence on these Web 2.0 social networking sites will find it difficult to survive in the future.And this is not even counting the direct visitors and presence you have on these sites.  I am simply talking about how Google will be ignoring your site if it doesn’t see your links on places like twitter and Facebook because it will determine that no one is talking about nor cares about your website so why should the Google bot?
