It seems like I’m always coming across people who are obsessed with learning how to become a contractor because they want to own and operate their own business. Yet, when I talk to them to get a sense of who they are and what they enjoy doing it is revealed that a good portion of them don’t particularly enjoy working with their hands! It makes no sense. Why would you want to learn how to become a contractor if you don’t enjoy physical labor? True, at some point you could pass the labor off to worker bees, but in the meantime you’ll be sweating and getting dirty just to get your business off the ground. If you can’t deal with that then this isn’t the business for you.
