Ringing Ceders

I have a group of friends who love to talk about the economy and many are very pessimistic about the outlook.  The view I share with them is much brighter, especially now that we have some new programs, such as loan modification.  Although it is true that some people are losing their homes, many have saved theirs by going through loan modification companies which can renegotiate mortgages so that they are affordable.  Some families I know are also living more simply, spending time together, and, with their lower mortgage payments, are actually getting out of debt.  Even in these tough economic times, there is a silver lining.
