When doing a school project about family history, it is an excellent idea to search birth records in order to show the families places of origin. Not only is it important to document where the family tree comes from, but what that allows one to do, is to surmise how it is that they lived based on where they lived. We get that kind of information from census’ that have been taken on a regular basis by the United States government. All of this kind of information that we can gather on our ancestors can give us wonderful background information on perhaps why our families do certain things to this day.
