Small Business Marketing - Starting Up

October 4th, 2008 by admin

Small Business Marketing should be an important section of your overall Business Plan for success. There is virtually no small business that doesn’t need some part of a web marketing effort, even if it is just good emails to clients! To begin with, determine a few facts and goals. First, what are you selling? Who do you want to reach with your marketing? Who is your competition? What products or services compete with yours? Why is yours better? What kind of marketing budget do you have? Next, obtain media information. What are costs for radio, tv, print or internet efforts? What kind of company or product information do you need to publish for flyers or a website? What are the goals for your small business marketing? What criteria will determine when you have achieved success? Are there any limitations, for example, production capability, budget?
