The photographer sees the beauty

November 20th, 2008 by admin

I just knew my wife was going to like these pictures.   We were going to see am example of the work of the Photographer Houston Texas has produced that has made a name for himself by emphasizing jewelry and food.  For years both of these items have been of an interest to her.  As we viewed his work it was impossible not to be drawn in to the way that he is able to take the cold hard silver and jewels and transform them into a creation with depth and warmth.  His eyes were even  able to see the art and capture the beauty of a belt and buckle.

New Info on the Cricut Machine

November 15th, 2008 by admin

Cricut Machines are fantastic ways to scrapbook. There’s no doubt that they have truly, fundamentally changed the way that scrapbooking is done. As a matter of fact, you could probably split up the history of scrapbooking into two eras - Before Cricut and After Cricut. The Cricut Machine is a fantastic machine that is able to robotically, technically, perfectly cut all different kinds of card stock and paper stock, incorporating fun designs of all different kinds. It enables all of us to be perfectionits. The Cricut Machine has the changed the way that so many of us are able to scrapbook.

80s Rock is Guitar Nirvana

November 9th, 2008 by admin

It would not be prudent to slam current rock tunes as the musicians that write and record this music are soulful and passionate about their song offspring.  But, one topic must be opened up and explored, possibly to produce an even higher evolution in hard rock recording.  Where the heck has all the guitar playing gone?

One of the mainstays of 80s rock was of course, the guitar.  Even is the song was total junk, a wailing lead could send the heart pumping and wanting more.  We just don’t hear that kind of passion in guitar playing with today’s rock tunes.  Maybe a filler riff here and there, but more times than not there is nothing for guitar listening junkies.  80s rock may not be the flavor of the day, but current record labels should take note that guitar lead solos born in the 80s are a must for any true fan of hard rock.

Quality African Instruments

October 31st, 2008 by admin

In the music industry black American or black Africans have made a name for themselves showing their real talents. I am referring not only to dancers or singers but also for those who made quality African instruments. African has proven so many times they are not only good dancers or singers but also one of the best makers of musical instruments.     African instruments are indeed of good quality for the fact that most African is good in music. They have even slowly invaded the music world which was once dominated by white individuals or groups. African instruments are therefore one of the best things to reckon with in the music industry these days.

Being The Best Guitar Player

October 28th, 2008 by admin

When my husband explained that he was going to learn how to play the guitar, I laughed at him.  He decided that he was going to get a tutor.  I thought he was crazy.  When he came home after a month of lessons I was surprised.

He had an electric guitar tutor that has worked with him to become a great player.  He is a great tutor because he understands how to work with my husband and how to teach him to do the things that he wants to do.  The tutor focuses on teaching my husband what he wants to learn not want the tutor wants to teach him.

My Dreams as a Guitar Player

October 22nd, 2008 by admin

When I first picked up a guitar, I sincerely hoped that I would magically produce an instant harmony. Instead, what came out was a bunch of noise. But, I was young and thought that I could be an expert guitar player from the first strum. So, my dreams as a prodigy were squashed. But, I decided to move on with the guitar. If I could play anything like guitar slim, then I would be thrilled beyond belief. But, the chances of that were, well, slim. However, I continued to practice and I’ve made it to New York City as an editor for a magazine. How exciting!

Unlimited Videos

October 5th, 2008 by admin

I have been looking for a way to download movies onto my computer. I have done a descent amount of research in this area and visited may movie site reviews. After all of that I have finally found the site that I am going to go with. They make you pay a one time fee that is good for life, and in return you get unlimited video downloads. It could not be any easier than that, even my mother has signed up. That just goes to show you how easy the process really is. She knows nothing about technology or computers.

Crazy Purses

September 30th, 2008 by admin

I am sitting here watching an investment program and how crazy people buy things that they can not afford. Although some of these people do buy things and they can afford them. There are also things that people buy that they need and they really should invest in. The investment broker was really great in approving their buys when it came to things that they wanted to buy and they really could afford. One caller asked about tattoo designs and if they should pay for one or not and thankfully this caller had a great responsible income and decided to get a great tattoo.

Want to be a celebrity?

September 28th, 2008 by admin

Their are alot of people whom want to become a celebrity. It’s no wonder either, celebrity’s have the lifestyle we all yearn for, and a seemingly endless supply of money and resources. What I think many don’t see however is that to be a celebrity their are alot of things you must maintain which can actually make those “extras” not so enjoyable. Celebrity News is chalked full of these things and what “fallen” actors and actresses have had to endure when they were left with nothing but their fame. Some can’t even get work after they fall but as broke as they are can’t escape the fans either! They end up broke and bombarded.

Found the street dancing info I was after

September 26th, 2008 by admin

I’ve been searching for the name of a dance style I’ve liked for a long time. I’ve asked many people even one or two dancers who weren’t quite sure.

I’ve found out why! It’s a fusion of different dance styles rather than being a dance style in it’s own right. The street dancing info I got from this guy was amazing - he was like a dictionary.

He rolled out the names of dancers and choreographers who danced like this and their predecessors before them who influenced them. Need to do a lot of research to find out who all these people are now!

Not Just for Bowls Anymore

September 22nd, 2008 by admin

We recently had to move from the midwest to the west coast and the decor of most places we visit is quite different from the southwest feel that we came from. My house was decorated in a lot of the old time pottery and I certainly loved the architecture where it fit right in. Now though to keep up with the eclectic feel of the busy city, I have upgraded some of my pieces and I am quite happy to say that I have found some great new modern pieces that are not just for bowls and kitchen equipment. I am excited to branch out in the new design.

I Think That Music Videos Are Awesome.

September 17th, 2008 by admin

I am a big fan of music so naturally I am also a big fan of music videos. I think that my favorite genre of music has to be country music so of course that would make my favorite kinds of music videos country music videos. Even though country is my favorite I will watch other music videos as well. I just tend to have my tv set to the country station when I am in the music video watching mood. I like to watch them especially when I don’t recognise the artist playing so I can put a face with the song.
