I am now legal and want a tattoo

July 7th, 2009 by admin

Last week I turned 18 therefore I an finally and officially a legal. In all reality I don’t feel any older and my birthday was a lot of fun but it just felt like another day. Since I am now allowed to get a tattoo design I want one so bad. I was thinking of getting brass knuckles tattooed to me somewhere. Brass knuckles don’t really have any meaning to me or anything but I really like the idea and that’s what I really want to get. Everyone keeps trying to talk me out of it and I have never been the kind of person to do what other people want I like to do the complete opposite. Seriously I think I am just going go to the tattoo shop this weekend and make my decision then.

Acoustic Guitar Strings

July 3rd, 2009 by admin

It is not difficult to learn how to play the acoustic guitar but you should be aware that they come with different types of strings.  A classical acoustic guitar is usually equipped with nylon strings.  The lower four strings are made of a clear material while the upper two strings are thicker and usually wound with metal.  These strings are easy on the fingers and produce a softer sound. A regular acoustic guitar can be equipped with stainless steel or nickel strings.  They produce a harder sound and they are a little rougher on the fingers of a beginner.  If you have a guitar with metal strings, you will eventually build up calluses on your fingers as you play.

Good Friends learn how to dance In houston

June 28th, 2009 by admin

I have a best friend who loves to dance but is not the best dancer, and I want to find her a dance class that will teach her how to dance. I asked her if she wanted to go into dance classes and she said she would absolutely love that. I found some houston learn how to dance classes in the local newspaper. I called my best friend once I returned home from reading the newspaper at the local coffee shop. She told me about the exact same add as I had found also. She said she already reserved a spot and was so happy.

Flamenco Guitar Lesson

June 24th, 2009 by admin

There are probably a couple of terms that you will hear when you have your first flamenco guitar lesson.

The first one is rasgueado. This refers to the many types of strumming that is done when playing flamenco guitar. Various combinations of right-hand (p,i,m,a,c) fingers are strummed to create a large number of rhythmic patterns that correspond to tha various flamenco dance rhythms such as Sevillanas, Tangos and Bulerias.

The next technique is golpe. This is a technique whereby the guitarist taps the top of the guitar to create various rhythmic patterns. The tapping is done with the right hand fingers. Most flamenco guitars have a golpeador (tap-plate) in order to protect the surface of the guitar.

Singer 201 – “The Best Sewing Machine Ever Made”

June 21st, 2009 by admin

During the “glory” days of Singer Sewing Machines, Singer produced the model 201 from the 1930′s to at least the 1950′s. It was their finest (and highest priced) machine. Thousands of these machines were produced — and most of them are still sewing as finely and strongly today as they did when first produced. You’ll need to oil it regularly and also grease the gears from time to time. free jewelry making catalog You can unscrew the circular silver plate on the backside of the machine to reveal the gears and the greasing points. Use regular Singer Sewing Machine gear grease (not oil!). Use sewing machine oil only at the recommended oiling points. This rotary hook machine uses a Class 66 bobbin.

More music videos online please

June 11th, 2009 by admin

I can’t get enough music videos – I so wish MTV would go back to its roots and start showing music again rather than all this fluff entertainment that chokes up the listings. I heard something about the Sony PS3 coming out with a music video playlist application, but there’s no information on when it will actually be released. In the meantime I’m getting my free music videos from mevio, and that’s satisfying my thirst at least for the moment. Though I can consume hour after hour with all the new content that seems to constantly drip into the network there. Music is my life, man, how can anyone live without it!

Learn Chinese – Impress Your Friends

May 19th, 2009 by admin

Believe it! Your friends will be stunned when they hear you greet them in Chinese. You want to know why? Because they have probably heard that Chinese is one of the hardest languages to learn out of all the languages this world speaks

Rocket Chinese

Recently, a trend has developed in high schools and communities around the United States. Many people want to or are now learning the Chinese language. This could be a good turn of events, but it can also be problematic. This is particularly so for those who know nothing about Chinese culture, history and the state of affairs in China today.

Getting the Best Music on File Sharing

May 9th, 2009 by admin

It seems to me that sometimes it is hard to find music that is really different than the stuff that is on the radio. There is this group of people that decided the type of music that the whole culture looks forward to. I just know that the best thing to do is to find a site like the ares site to get the music that I love to listen to. I know that it will help if I can find music from cultures all over the world. There is nothing telling any of them how to make a song, or something for an album.

Essential Left Handed Sitar

March 31st, 2009 by admin

They say that ours is a rightist world. Many people   use their right hand to do anything, writing, eating and all but with people who use the left for those things, it is just not right. I was glad I never had to suffer the same thing with my left handed sitar. For once, I thought the left handed sitar was made for us. It just makes me want to think that in some respect, the world is still fair. The left handed sitar for one is such a nice thing. I really am glad that I knew this thing. At least I got to work my way without making such a big effort with the right hand.

Checking Out Napster For Music Downloads

March 20th, 2009 by admin

I have been looking around at the different services that allow you to download music.  I have several devices that I want to be able to download music and video to and am looking for the one that offers the best prices.  I know that once I start downloading songs I will probably want to buy hundreds of them.  A friend of mine uses napster for his music downloads and has for years.  He used it back when it was free, but he says the prices they charge now are fair.  You are able to download songs and listen to them a couple of times before you have to pay for them.

I can be in these beautiful mountains in less than 2 hours from my home.  I grab my camera gear and go every opportunity that I can.  The Smoky Mountain nature adventure offers an abundance of photographic prospects.  The mountains, the streams and waterfalls, bears, deer, fox and elk are there if you have the time to explore.  At first sign of spring I will be heading up there once again.
