When I was in high school in the nineteen nineties, I noticed that one of my childhood friends, Chris, had some strange set of cards. It turns out that they were Magic the Gathering cards. He said that it was a game and compared it to Dungeon Dragons.  I had no idea what either game was, but Chris played it with his friends every chance that he could. He loved it. He was consumed by it. Whenever I saw him he was holding a deck of them.  He seemed to study everything about them. I never got into it, but I could tell that it was his passion.

Yesterday was one of the most favored moments of my life. The reason why I state this is because I had a lot of favor grace flowing at the moment I am about to tell you about. Now I am not a huge fan of primetime television, due to the fact that I am a sport’s lover that frequently watches football and basketball on tv. But the other day, I came across a grey’s anatomy quiz that promises a nice reward if you pass this quiz that was given. So I took the quiz and on my very first try, I passed it with a score of 9 out of 10, which qualified me for the prize.

A few weeks ago I was on a road trip with some friends.  We were traveling from St. Louis, Missouri and heading down to San Diego, California. At one point in the trip we found ourselves in the middle of nowhere in New Mexico somewhere and we were running out of gas quickly.  Luckily, one of the guys had an iphone and he was able to get online and find the nearest gas station by looking in New Mexico information.  It was pretty scary because we were out on this road that seemed deserted and things definitely were not looking good.

I just made a purchase that will put me once and for all on the top of the leader boards. I really needed a new ATV that could take the beating but be light and powerful enough to keep me in front. Wisdom comes in all forms.  There are many ways to acquire and learn and add to your wisdom in life.  One way you can do this is to become a good student for life.  Just because you graduated from high school or college doesn’t mean that your education is done.  In many ways, it is just beginning.  You got an academic education, now you need to keep adding to your life wisdom.  One way to do this is to set aside half an hour or so every other day for yourself to read and learn.  Pick up a non fiction book or watch some educational tv, and learn more about life.

I have a dog that is totally out of control and I really need to start some training exercises with him quickly or my wife is basically going to make me take him to the town.
