Every other year, our family tries to plan an extended vacation somewhere we haven’t previously been.
Some of the places we’ve been to in years past have included The Great Smoky Mountains, Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Chicago, Illinois.
Each trip has been memorable in many ways.
This year we have been greatly blessed by winning a drawing at my husband’s work for Puerto Vallarta Vacation Rentals.
It really is quite unbelievable.
The only expense we’re going to have is our food and entertainment once we arrive. Everything else is covered.
Needless to say, we are all rather stoked.
Fun in the sun is going to be… fun!

Usually when vacationing Americans go to visit Paris they only think of staying at some expensive hotel. Well four college students I know broke out of that mind set. They found they could get apartments for rent Paris for short terms and that is exactly what the did. They rented an apartment in Paris for the 14 days they were there. They said they loved the idea of not being at a tourist inspired hotel. They met more of the local people in a much more friendly way. The locals they met were very helpful in pointing them to sites in the city they would not have found had they stayed and a big hotel.

One of the best places that I have ever visited is that place found down in the south west of the united kingdom in western europe, that is devon. Devon is a wonderful calm and peaceful place where people are so nice and polite and where anyone can almost be one hundred percent guaranteed to have a really great time. Devon if easily found and it differs from the typical holiday that one would experience in a place such as say Florida or going on Safari in somewhere such as Kenya. Try and make a change and see what you get when you visit Devon.

If you are backpacking your local hiking trail or the entire continent of Europe you should always be prepared. Things for Travel should be in your backpack and in some cases you can even purchase back packing kits. If you are more than a mile from home you should bring more than just your phone and ipod. Depending on what type or traveling you plan on doing will also determine what you should pack. The main goal is to keep it light. Back strain can cause a number of medical problems not to mention will make your planned trip much less pleasant.

And Bali is a perfect couple’s place. But it is also wonderful for the entire family.

Vacation time is big decision time in our home. We have gone to various locations in the US over the years, and we really like to seek out different locales each time. Making memories and having fun are the things that make our life together great! We both love golf, and historic places that have quaint buildings and scenery. This year we went to Bluffton SC to play golf, and have lots of fun. It was a great vacation filled with daily golf, and visiting landmarks. Don’t get me started on how great the food there was. I think that may be a yearly vacation for us. We will have to take two vacations a year.

Are you getting second thoughts to sell your timeshare? Stop the worries. For a place that you find no use of anymore you can still find the right buyer for it. There is no point in keeping a house or an apartment if you only use it a couple of days in a year. Aside from paying taxes there is also maintenance that increases your financial burden. Why not sell it to others who would find it more useful. Don’t hesitate to sell your timeshare for a place you rarely use and give another family a chance to take advantage of it.

I love visiting the islands of the world. Recently we stayed in two hotels in mauritius and discovered some rare things about this island. The official language of Mauritius is English. Although much of french and Mauritian Creole is spoken here, the official language and all documents are drafted in English. It was something we have never seen before. The people in the hotel spoke Creole, the media on the television was in France, but our legal contracts were in English. It must be confusing for other tourists like myself but it certainly was unique. I’m just glad the contracts were in English so I could read what I was signing.

When you picture cottages you might think of old places with only the basic amenities. Essentially it might be considered camping but with a solid roof over your head, a fancy stove and heat. Well I am here to dispel this myth… at least with the cottages to rent in the lake district. Now there are basic cottages for rent but many are finely refurnished historic buildings and sites. They come with many of the great amenities you would expect in high end hotels. The owners have spent a great deal of time preserving the old cottages character but with a modern twist.

Beach holidays are all well and good, but what about all the history and culture on offer? Are we to just ignore anything interesting for the sake of a sun tan and some heavy duty sessions of lazing around. Lets face it, sunbathing is all well and good for an hour or two, but anything beyond that is just being lazy, is it not!? Isn’t it better to explore and learn about a new culture and how things used to be. To sample provincial atmosphere as well as to taste authentic local cuisine instead of eating what is on offer day after day at the hotel. Rent a car in Corsica and take off away from the holiday resorts. Mix with people who don’t have to wear uniforms and speak English. Head over to Ajaccio (also known as Ajax) over on Corsica’s west and discover the tastes, sights and sounds of everything that lies within its narrow streets.

New York city is probably the most patriotic place you can go to in this country. The New Yorker policemen and firemen wear their badges with pride. You see them in their black shiny boots on practically every street. They’re always willing to give you a hand, or help you if you get lost. Have you been to Ground Zero yet? The New Yorkers have been through so much. Search for flights to new york online, and take a good look around when you get there. And then shake that policeman’s hand, and thank him for his dedication to New York.

Many people travel or move to Kansas City each day. They move to Kansas City MO of course. Few people move to Kansas City KS for the same reasons. There are many areas in Kansas City.
Some areas are expensive such as around the Plaza. However, there are also very poor areas in Kansas City where homes are very cheap and many real estate investors travel to Kansas City just to buy some of these homes.
There are buses running and there are tall projects for low income people. There are charities, shelters as well as high class restaurants, apartment building and more. There are people of many races in Kansas City too.

My family is always very busy, if we aren’t running around like crazy people than there is something wrong. So my husband and I decided awhile ago that it was very necessary to take at least a few vacations a year to get away and have some fun. This year we decided to take a kind of mini vacation out to some beautiful Amish Country towns and communities. We thought that the countryside would be a nice relaxing atmosphere for us and since the town was going to be having some festivals while we were there that would be fun for the kids. Well we all had a great time and learned a lot while we were there as well.

My husband and I are planning a second honeymoon, and we decided to visit Australia for this. We looked through our options for Canberra hotels and decided that we liked the Crowne Plaza Canberra the best. We love the location right near the center of things, and we are hoping that we will be able to do a lot of sight seeing on foot since that is what we like the best. We love just walking around in different cities and seeing what they are like. If we should decide that we didn’t get enough exercise just walking around, the hotel also has a gym and a pool that we can check out.
