Ringing Ceders

I wanted to go to school but I just did not see how it was feasible. My folks work hard but they barely make enough to stay ahead of the bill collectors. I was talking to my guidance counselor about it when he told me about the different types of financial aid I would be eligible for. He opened up a door to a new and bright future that day. I had pretty much resigned myself to working at the local mall or a fast food place but he made my dreams go so much beyond those jobs. I filled out all the necessary paperwork and applied for as much financial aid as I could get. What really shocked me was the two scholarships that I won as well, which is going to make it really nice. I can focus entirely on my studies instead of having to have a part time job as well.
