Why is it that there is such a stigma involved with going to the dentist?  My dad would tell everyone that he needed a fist full of pain medicine just to survive the visit.  Watching him get so panicky every visit started to affect me.  I began to dodge appointments.  Unfortunately, that let to several cavities and a lot of pain in my mouth.  I was finally referred to Dentists in Murrells Inlet by my son’s teacher.  She had always been a little fearful of the dentist too.  Anyway, my first appointment was amazing.  The staff are truly kind, and the dentist was so gentle.  I’m no longer afraid.
