Ringing Ceders

I know of a friend that got a pharmacy tech job with virtually no training, but I also know that this isn’t very common. I want to get some training and then try to get a job as a pharmacy tech. How much training would I need to get before being able to get the certification? And does the certification make it a lot more likely you will get a job, and does it get you a higher rate of pay? These are a few things I would really like to know so that I can make the best decision possible.
