the cavity of the mouth, the pharynx, the oesophagus, the stomach, and the small and large intestine.  The upper three parts located in the hand, neck,  and chest maintain a relatively straight direction.  In the pharynx the alimentary canal intersects with the respiratory tract.  After the oesophagus passes through the diaphragm, the digestive tube dilates and thus forms the stomach; the next in order after the stomach, the small intestine, is in turn composed in the duodenum, jejulum, and ileum.  The large intestine consists of the caecum with the vermiform process, the ascending, transverse, descending, and sigmoid colon.CPC papers focuses on these in detail.
