The Banana Diet

If you have ever tried a ridiculous diet, you usually can spot one from a mile away. One that I have heard of recently is the banana diet. The idea is that you eat at least four to five bananas a day, and the potassium helps you burn fat. The problem with these fat loss plans is that they take moderation out of your lifestyle. You can not expect to live for the rest of your life consuming that many fruits. I have even heard of one person that got potassium poisoning from something like this. I am not a proponent of these programs, and I think that a healthy lifestyle is the way to go.
