If you’re wondering what causes hair loss, it’s important to realize that there’s no easy answer. There are hundreds of know causes. The most known: Genetics aka "runs in the family", Auto-immune disorder, hormonal changes, childbirth, prescription medications, chemotherapy treatments, stress (yes stress can cause hair loss!), toxins, poisons and last but not least, head injuries. Oh, and one more often overseen cause of hair loss: wearing a helmet. The continuous pressure caused by wearing a helmet or even a cap five days a week, can cause permanent hair loss.“Honey, sell the Harley!”Again: the list of possible answers is much longer. But in general these are the most common causes of hair loss.
