What is the best fat loss plan to follow for maximum results?

Many people are confused about how to achieve their dream body.  I am often confronted with the questions “What is the best fat loss plan to follow for maximum results?”

First, I will say that the best fat loss plan is the one you will actually stick with.  Many times people are following a great plan but lacking in consistency.  You did not gain all of your excess pounds overnight so we can not expect to lose them all overnight.

Here are a few things to consider when searching for a fat loss plan that will give you maximum results:

1.  The plan must consist of both a nutrition and exercise plan.  You can not successfully lose weight and keep it off without these 2 components.  You must nourish your body well and you must move your body each day.  The exercise plan can be specific to your needs and your level of fitness, but daily movement is a must.  The nutrition plan can also be tailored to your specific likes and dislikes but it must be comprised of healthy, wholesome, natural foods.  Not pre-packaged meals, bars and shakes that would be unrealistic to maintain for the long term.

2.  It must be a realistic plan for your lifestyle. If your plan of choice requires you to visit a gym 6 days a weeks but you know you just don’t have the time for that, choose a program that can be done 3-4 days in your home.  There are plenty of wonderful exercise programs out there that require minimal to no equipment that can be done at home.

3.  The plan must not be dependent on pills and supplements to work.  It is not realistic to think we can take pills for the rest of our lives to maintain our weight loss.  Real, wholesome food is the best thing to give your body when fat loss is your goal.  Skip the pills and go for the healthy food.

Finding the best fat loss plan to follow really means finding a realistic plan for you that is comprised of healthy food, exercise and lifestyle changes and then sticking to it.
