Have you ever heard of the prom dress alphabet?  This is simply a way to refer to the type of body you have — it’s overall shape, rather than a specific size.  For example, you might have the "mirror V" shape, sometimes referred to as the hourglass — the waist smaller  than the hips or bust.  Or you may have the "I" shape — a straight profile, with no curves whatsoever.  Other girls may have the "A" shape, which is a form which is smaller on top and larger around the hips.  You should be aware of your body type when you shop for the right prom dress for you — as girls with different body types will need to purchase prom dresses to suit their individual figures.
