Everybody who wears contact lenses needs a way to clean them and preserve their integrity so that people can maintain their eye health.  Saline Solution helps with this task.  When my little brother wanted contact lenses, he had to learn how to use this to keep the lenses clean.  He has to do this every night before bedtime so that when he gets back up in the morning, the contacts will be ready to use again.  Having a clean pair of contacts keeps the eyes healthy and the contacts in good working condition.  He is learning a lot about his own health by having to maintain the contacts by learning how important it is to keep them clean.
