ETF trading systems are proving to be the popular choice nowadays for many investors. It has many advantages over other investment instruments though it has also a very few disadvantages. However, although many perceived otherwise, the issue on the ETF’s liquidity is definitely not a disadvantage and in fact simply just a myth. It is said that many investors think that the liquidity of ETFs depend on its average trading volume or the daily number of shares traded. This is entirely false and a mere misconception. The actual measure of an ETF’s liquidity is the ETF’s underlying stock liquidity in the index. It would be better undeerstood once you look into the function of an ETF on a basic level.
