Grampa Still Roots for His Team

January 30th, 2009 by admin

One of my first memories was hearing my rowdy, enthusiastic Scottish grandfather shouting and cheering for his favorite football team.  In the last thirty years Grampa has gotten older but no less energetic in his support of the players.  The only thing that’s changed is how he attends the games.  Originally he watched them play in person, in Scotland.  Then he moved to America and had to listen on the radio.  Now he watches International sports on cable TV.  Although he’s over ninety, Grampa never misses a chance to put on his Scotland Retro Football Shirt, pour a pint of ale, and gather with his friends to cheer on the team.
