Ink Cartridges Troubleshooting

July 31st, 2008 by admin

When the ink begins to dry, you will start to have problems printing high quality, smooth prints; generally you can correct this by taking some isoporpyl alcohol and swabbing it on the cartridge print head with a piece of paper or a paper towel.

If the ink supply within the ink cartridge is getting low, you want to immediately replace the ink cartridges because if you try to print with low ink, you can burn out the heating elements within the cartridge. If you burn out the heating elements, you can permanently damage the print head on the printer. At that point, you may have to replace the entire print head.
