Ringing Ceders

Recently I visited a good friend who was showing me his new apartment.

I was stunned by the art on his walls. There were brilliant jungle scenes, portraits, and city scenes.

When I asked who the photographers were he told me he had taken all of the photos himself using a Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ5.

He went to to tell me that he’d gotten excited about photography after taking a class. When he read the reviews for the Panasonic, he loved its point and shoot feature since he was far from expert.

And, with optical zoom, a big LCD screen, and image stabilization, it had all he needed.

He has been so successful with the camera that he has put off buying a more complex camera that he’d been saving for.
